An usûls is a rhythmic pattern consisting of specific time intervals and accents. Turkish music boasts a rich assortment of usûls, totaling a number several times greater than that of similar elements western music.
In our application 75 different usuls together with their velvele (velvele of an usul is formed by increasing the number of beats of each main beat without changing the meter of the usul) forms are available for two different measure units (1/8 & 1/4).
